Sherry LeBlanc: Director of Yoga 4 Kids; Hon. B Sc.; Certified Kundalini (K.R.I.) & Integral Intermediate Hatha Yoga & Meditation Teacher; Licensed Practitioner of Yoga for the Special Child “R”, LLC ;FOYT “R” (Registered Member of the Federation of Ontario Yoga Teachers); E-RYT 200 (Yoga Alliance); Professional Member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Sherry specializes in teaching yoga to children & teens of all ages & abilities in public & private schools, daycares, yoga studios, dance studios & private clubs.  She offers private yoga therapy sessions to infants and children with special needs and professional development workshops for adults that qualify as Yoga Alliance CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

Sherry is a former modern dancer who has been teaching movement awareness and a comprehensive method of strengthening, stretching and aligning the body for over twenty-five years. 

She has been teaching yoga to adults and children yoga since 1998 and co-founded Yoga 4 Kids in 2000.

Sherry is fortunate to have studied with three groundbreaking and farsighted yoga teachers who specialize in teaching yoga to children, Sonia Sumar, Shakta Kaur Khalsa and Krishna Kaur.

Sherry is a graduate and Licensed Practitioner of the Yoga for the Special Child “R” LLC method of Yoga Therapy for children with developmental and learning disabilities as instructed by founder and director, Sivakami Sonia Sumar.

Sherry studied with Shakta Kaur Khalsa, completing all three levels of study and with Krishna Kaur, Director of Yoga for Youth, who teaches kundalini yoga to at-risk and incarcerated youth in Los Angeles.

Sherry has a Hon. B Sc. from the University of Toronto. She has studied Dalcroze Eurhythmics at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. 

Her Red Cross and CPR certification is up-to-date.

The best thing is to let the children teach us.

Schools should be places where children develop their own identities and good qualities.Each one has something special, something unique to give the world.  So we should look into the natural tendency that each child has and then develop it.  That is education.
